Synopsis

This movie tells about a nine years old boy’s life, Oskar Schell ( Thomas Horn). His father, Thomas Schell ( Tom Hanks), is one of the victim in 9/11 tragedy. He is a special boy. He has Asperger Syndrome that makes he has different way with common people in looking a thing, and hard to socialyze, but he has a care and understanding father. His father used to give an adventure game to train his own intellection and makes he socialyze.
A year after his father passed away, Oskar finds a key of a lock. He belives that the key is an answer for uncomplited mission from his father. He roam a whole of New York city to find the door of that key. In his expedition, he meets so many new people. He always gives a good impact to every person he visist.

Plot of The Story

Introduction
            At the beginning of the movie, Oskar is described as a smart weird boy. He has strong chemistry with his faher.

Climax
            Oskar finds out that the key belongs to someone who does not have any relationship with his father or the mission.

Ending
            Oskar tells the truth to his mother about what he has done. By his mother’s support he finally can accepts his father’s death.

Comment

            It is a good movie to learn us looking Asperger Syndrome in positive way, but it does not told in a good plot. We should watch concerntrate to get what the movie tells about.


Moral Value

1.      Never give up on what you are belive.
Altought he has to travel a whole New York, he never gives up to find the lock

2.      Make a good relationship with your kids and try to look what they do in a good side.
Oskar’s father never force his to be normal. His father tries hard to understand what his child are thinking about
